Natalie Shehata

Natalie’s discerning eye and approachable personality are just two reasons why she’s on speed-dial for many of Australia’s celebrities. Natalie is currently the head of Seven Network’s styling and makeup department, personally tending to some of its most high profile names. Behind the scenes, she also lends her impeccable taste to their private wardrobes for evening and weekend wear.

Natalie holds a strong belief that no single approach or trend is right for everyone, and she is known for crafting an individual wardrobe that is both classic and of the moment. Through meticulous styling advice, she has empowered numerous clients to transform the way they feel about themselves, inspiring greater self-confidence and professional success.

Shannon styles many of Australia’s most high profile actors, hosts and presenters, curating their entire wardrobe both on-air and in their private lives. Complementing the more classic tastes of Natalie, Shannon brings a modern aesthetic to her styling. Shannon crafts each client’s individual style through the creation of a beautifully sophisticated and truly customised wardrobe.

Shannon believes that style identity is an unspoken language – one that communicates who you are through how you dress. She understands the importance of a powerful first impression created through personal style, whether you’re walking into a boardroom or a ballroom. To ensure the perfect statement is made, Shannon conceptualises each outfit down to the finest detail, from the cut and silhouette to the weave of the fabric; often the simplest looks make the biggest statement. It is her ability to articulate a unique self expression that instils her clients with un-paralleled confidence.

Never underestimate the power of a great outfit and how it makes you feel. And never underestimate the power of the right stylist to help you look your best.

Whether I’m on camera, attending an event, hosting a function or walking a red carpet, I know if I’m dressed well and look my best I feel in control, confident and strong.

It’s essential to find someone you trust, someone who understands and respects your style, your age, your needs and what works for you .. not what might simply be in fashion that season. It’s also fabulous when that person encourages you to try a look that you may not have before.
Nat Shehata has been dressing me for nearly ten years. She pretty much transformed my style, polished my image and got me wearing what works best for my body shape. She knows what suits me and I trust her implicitly.

And let’s be honest, our wardrobe is our armour to face the world. I can write my notes, research my subject and be fully prepared for what I have to do, but my mojo comes from looking sharp, stylish and strong.

It’s essential to find someone you trust.

I first worked with Shannon while filming The X Factor Australia. As a TV Host, it’s ultra important that I can trust a team of stylists to help me look and feel my best on camera.

Their fine attention to detail and unique ability to make me feel comfortable on and off set is irreplaceable. Shooting live television is no easy feat, but Shannon and her team always made the impossible possible.

From the Logies red carpet to the recent International Emmys every detail was meticulously planned and nothing was too much trouble (including pulling together a last minute event dress for the trip to New York!)
